Crucian Gold’s Conch Shell represents its use as a tool. The native Taino tribes crafted the shell into tools which they used for farming and hunting. Sailors also fashioned the shell to use as a horn or Tutu to signal their presence at sea or to alert their arrival to the shoreline.
