Josephine Knot

The Josephine Knot symbolizes strength, protection, and connection, honoring founder Brian Bishop and his early career as a commercial diver. The design is inspired by the traditional knot used to secure and organize rope with purpose and care.

In 1972, Brian wore the Navy’s Mark V copper diving helmet, relying on two lifelines for air and communication. When stowed, those ropes were tied into a Josephine Knot to prevent tangles and protect the helmet, making this piece a powerful symbol of trust and survival.
