Kevin's K9 Search & Rescue

Our mission is to provide free canine search and rescue services to the people of the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. 

On September 6th, 2024 Kevin Highfield a beloved local Crucian was reported missing on a hiking trail in Magens Bay, St. Thomas, friends and family got together and raised money to bring a canine search and rescue team to the territory. There were no cadaver dogs locally and after a four-day search to no avail, the dogs were brought in on day four of the search and found Kevin within twenty minutes. 

In his loving memory, Kevin's K9 Search & Rescue was born to assist other families in need in those critical hours that can save people's lives.
