Sailor's Shackle Single Earring
The Sailor's Shackle is a symbol of security in the nautical and sailing community. This strong link, unknown as a gyve or shackle is used to secure the bow of a ship to the anchor-line. Brian Bishop first rendered this Sailors Shackle in 1975.
Note: Shackle Earring is sold as single earring.
To measure your wrist correctly, wrap an ordinary piece of string comfortably around your wrist bone. Mark the point where the edges meet. This measurement (in inches) is your wrist size. If you would like your bracelet to have a snug fit, use your wrist measurement for your bracelet size. If you would like your bracelet to have a more loose fit, please add 1/4 inch to your wrist size.
