Queen Mary aka Mary Thomas, was one of the leaders of the fire burn rebellion on St. Croix in 1878. She is known as a fierce and determined person and is an inspiration to all Caribbean women.
Hand sculpted by Nathan Bishop, she is shown holding a cane knife and a burning torch.
